Why The King James?

This world is filled with negativism, depression, and unbelief.

Even christian friends can create an attitude of "negativism" around us. Negativism is actually unblief.

Fom the begining the devil has used, "Hath God said", as a weapon against our faith and happiness. (Genesis 3:1) His methods are no different today. "Hath God said" is a weapon that the devil has used to cause much doubt, pain and depression.

Added to this: unhappy circumstances, negative people, and the lust of this world, our lives can be sent into a down-ward slide of depression. Sometimes we just do not want to go on.

Having a church home does much to resist this, but not all churches walk in the spirit of comfort, love and compassion. Many do not, even, walk in the spirit of truth!

What does a person do who is starting to feel "swamped" with these feelings of failure, fear, and unbelief?

In the midst of every negative attack that we experience, should be the knowledge that there is a "light in the storm", and that light is the Word of God.

You can always turn to the scriptures for your help, and help will be found! The Word is always a beacon that we can anchor ourselves to, in any storm.

The enemy knows this, and has warred against the Word of God by causing cults to add other books to the Word, and has been at work to water it down with various, socialized, modern, translations, along with a lot of "hocus pocus" from false teachers and wayward denominations.

The King James is Ordained

The King James reigns on top of all the Bible translations, with authority, clearness, and truth in it's passages. It is the only translation that has been ordained by a king, and that king was, himself, ordained to be king in two countries: Scotland and England.

There is a mysticism, and a sense of power, that comes with something that is ordained. The same is true for a person who is ordained. Jesus is ordained as the Christ, the holy prophets were ordained, as were the priests and kings.

For us to see God in these things of ordination we must first believe that being ordained comes from God, and not man.

"Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you."

John 15:16

Many scoff, resist, and persecute those who accept ordinations.

The King James is Public Domain

The King James is public domain, and no one has to worry about quoting from it, or using it as a reference; where other translations have copywrite restrictions. Anything of God is always free to all the people, with no strings attatched.

Mattew 10:8 "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give."
Translations that have to be given copywrite protection, cannot be trusted, because anything of the Holy Spirit, would be free, and available to all people. These "copywrite" translations are a sign of being "man-made", and not God ordained.

The King James is Persecuted

The people of God, and the things that be of God, are always ridiculed, and persected by the world. This is because the love of this world, is not of God.

This is why the King James is always persecuted, but what is surprising is that many christians also persecute the King James, and those who stand by it!

I feel that many who read this will be offended, because the devil hates the King James version.

Several years ago, when I was contemplating the various translations, and what to do with them, the Holy Spirit spoke to me, and said to stay with the King James only! He told me to make the King James my fortress, and rock to stand on.

I have believed the King James to be scripture, even though I have been persecuted for it.
